The article explains the Order Details page's features and provides various types of information related to an order, such as order types and order statuses. This page is crucial for efficiently tracking and managing all aspects of your orders.

The Order Details page provides various types of information related to your order, including:
  • Order name
  • Order ID
  • Order creator
  • Order date
  • Product(s) you've purchased, want to store in a Dots Warehouse, or use for onboarding or offboarding employees.
    • If you were offered an alternative product to what you originally intended to purchase, you will be able to see and compare that alternative with your initial choice.
  • Product price
  • Quantity
  • Price per unit
  • ETA
  • Total price
  • Tracking
  • Information you've provided related to your order
  • Order type
  • Order status

Order types (services)

There 5 types of orders (services) Dots currently provides. They are:
    • Procurement
    • Delivery
    • Warehousing
    • On-boarding
    • Off-boarding

Order statuses

There are several statuses your order can have after you've created it. They are:

  • Drafting Proposal: An order receives this status once it has been created by you. It indicates that the Dots team is working to offer you a quote in the form of a commercial offer, which you will then need to confirm.
  • Pending Approval: This status means we are waiting for you to approve a quote we have sent to you.
  • Processing: This status indicates that the Dots team is currently preparing your order for shipment and delivery.
  • In Transit: Your order is now being shipped to the location of your choice.
  • Partially Delivered: This status applies if you have multiple packages and not all of them have arrived yet.
  • Delivered: An order receives this status once it has been delivered in full.
  • Confirmed: This status is assigned to orders that have been delivered and then confirmed by the client.
  • Pending Payment: Once confirmed, the order needs to be paid for.
  • Completed: After payment has been processed and verified by Dots, the order is officially marked as completed.
  • Canceled: Your order can be assigned this status if you choose not to proceed with it for various reasons, such as a change of plans, creating a duplicate order, etc.
  • Dismissed: Sometimes, an order may be dismissed. If this happens, we will always inform you of the reason.

Proof of Delivery

When your order has been delivered Dots may provide you with a proof of delivery that will be attached to your order.
